
Qualcomm has conducted a 2-day 5G summit that kicks off starting today. During the summit, the company is expected to announce new developments, introduce new partnerships, and a lot more. Qualcomm Global has shared an official tweet revealing that the company is collaborating with Honor at the 5G Summit. Besides, Honor has also retweeted the post from its official global account.
The smartphone maker has confirmed that the upcoming Honor 50 series is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. Let’s have a closer look at the latest announcement for the Honor 50 series.
Honor 50 and Magic Series to Feature Qualcomm Chipset
Fang Fei, the president of the product line department, Honor confirmed that the Honor 50 series is going to be equipped with the Snapdragon 778G soC. Bhavya, Media Relations at Honor Global also shared a tweet with screenshots claiming to confirm the same, but she also revealed that the Honor Magic series will be also powered by the new Snapdragon 778G 5G processor. Further, she also suggests that the Magic series will be launched with superb imaging quality all thanks to the new chipset.
