After launching the Honor 50 series globally, the company is now working on the launch of its next premium smartphone range. The Honor 60 series is expected to debut soon. If the rumour mill is to be believed, the Huawei spin-off brand will unveil the Honor 60 series in December 2021. While we wait for the official launch details, an image of the Honor 60 series has leaked on Weibo (via 91Mobiles). The leaked banner shows the rear panel design of the device. It shows that the device has two large camera rings inside a larger pill-shaped camera module. Let’s take look at more details of the Honor 60 series rumoured to debut in December 2021.
Honor 60 series design
Honor has not yet confirmed the launch date of the Honor 60 series. The leaked banner revealed ahead of the launch shows the rear camera module design. Based on the leaked image, it can be safe to assume that Honor is not planning to make any major changes in terms of the device’s design. Much like the current generation Honor 50 series, the 60 series will have dual cutouts inside the large pill-shaped module. Each of the two rings is said to house two sensors for the quad-camera setup.
In addition to this, it is being reported that the Honor 60 SE will have 44W fast charging, whereas the vanilla and Pro models will support 66W fast charging. We did report about an Honor 60 series phone with the model number GIA-AN00 visiting the 3C website. It revealed that the phone supports 66W fast charging.
In addition to these details, the vanilla model is said to sport a pill-shaped cutout at the top left corner of the display as well. The phone is said to pack a Snapdragon 870 SoC and a 4500 mAh battery under the hood. The Pro model, on the other hand, will have a centrally aligned single front camera inside the punch hole cutout.
Other details of the devices remain under the wraps. We will share more details as and when available.
