Honor 8X India Launch Set For October 16: 5 Alternatives With Similar Price, Features You Can Consider

The Honor 8X is ready to hit the shelves in India. Meanwhile, we have compiled a list of five smartphones with similar price and features, that could be valid alternatives to the upcoming Honor smartphone.

Huawei Honor 8X- Pre Release

Honor is finally bringing the Honor 8X to India on October 16. The device will be sold exclusively on Amazon. The e-commerce giant has not listed the device yet, so the exact pricing and launch offers are still unknown. But, we are expecting the device to come with an affordable price. The base version of the device with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage may start at Rs. 20,000 in India. While the pricing seems reasonable, there are plenty of other devices in the same price range with similar features. Check out the following alternatives to the Honor 8X.

Xiaomi Mi A2

Launched at a price in India of Rs. 16,999 in India, the Xiaomi Mi A2 with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage is now available at Rs. 14,999. The device features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution, and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, the Mi A2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, clocked at 2.2GHz and combined with Adreno 512 GPU. In the imaging department, the Xiaomi Mi A2 features a 12MP + 20MP dual-camera set up. On the front, there is a 20MP camera for selfies. As for software, the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and packs a 3010mAh battery.

Vivo V9 Pro

The Vivo V9 Pro was launched in India at Rs. 19,900. However, the smartphone is available at Rs. 17,990 at the Amazon Great Indian festival sale.

The Vivo V9 Pro features a 6.3-inch FullView 2.0 Full HD+ display with 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Similar to the Mi A2, the Vivo V9 Pro also is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, clocked at 2.2GHz. For storing apps and data, the smartphone offers 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. On the software front, the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based  Funtouch OS 4.0. For optics, the device features a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera set up at the back, a 16MP camera at the front. The device is fuelled by a 3260mAh battery.

Realme 2 Pro

The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Realme 2 Pro has been priced in India at Rs.13,990, while the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant sells for Rs. 15,990. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Realme 2 Pro costs Rs. 17,990.

The Realme 2 Pro features an impressive 6.3-inch IPS LCD Dewdrop Full-Screen display with 1080 x 2340 pixels full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor under the hood. For optics, the Realme 2 Pro features a 16MP + 2MP dual-camera set up at the back, and a 16Mp camera at the front. The device is powered by a 3500mAh capacity battery and runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Vivo V11

The best price for the Vivo V11 is available at Amazon. The e-commerce giant is selling the Vivo smartphone at Rs. 20,890 for its Great Indian Festival Sale. The Vivo V11 comes with a tall 6.3-inch display with 1080 x 2280 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor. For optics, the device features a 16MP+5MP dual rear camera, and the device gets a 25MP front-facing at the front. The device runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) based Funtouch OS 4.5 and packs 3315mAh battery.

Oppo F9

Originally launched at Rs. 19,990, the Oppo F9 has recently got a price cut. The device now sells for Rs. 18,990.

The Oppo F9 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The device is powered by a  MediaTek Helio P60 processor and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. For optics, the Oppo smartphone features a 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera set up. The front of the device houses a 25MP camera for selfies. The Oppo F9 is fuelled by a 3500mAh capacity battery.
