Honor launched the Honor 9X smartphone in India on January 14. The device falls under the mid-range segment of the Android smartphones and is finally going on its first sale tonight via Flipkart. The Honor 9X is launched in India in two memory variants – the one with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage is priced at Rs. 13,999. That said, the same will cost you Rs 12,999 during the first sale that happens to be tonight itself as the Flipkart Republic Day Sale days will commence from today’s midnight. There, however, is a 6GB/128GB variant of the device as well, and the same would cost you Rs. 16,999. Honor 9X: Specifications and features

Starting things off with the display of the device, the Honor 9X comes packed with a 6.59-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Coming to the dimensions, the device measures 6.42 x 3.04 x 0.35 inches and weighs in at 206 grams. There are two color variants that you can choose from – Magic Night Black and Charm Sea Blue. The device features a pop-up camera mechanism, thereby eliminating the need for a notch of sorts. Speaking of the pop-up camera, the Honor 9X features a 16MP selfie snapper.

At the back, the device has a triple camera setup – a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. One would find a physical fingerprint scanner as well, at the back. The device is powered with the company’s in-house Kirin 710F chipset, which is coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the battery front, the device features a 4,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. As far as the software is concerned, the Honor 9X runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9 running on top of it.
