Not too long ago, we came across a promotional poster for Honor’s upcoming smartphone, dubbed the Honor 9X Lite, which suggested that the forthcoming device would feature a 48MP primary camera and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the device was caught on the Google Play Services directory, courtesy of which, we could deduce that it would feature pre-installed Google Apps and other Google Play Services. Now, the Honor 9X Lite smartphone has been spotted on a Pakistani online retailer, who goes by the name Advance Store. The interesting thing is to see that the retailer has already put up the device for pre-orders.

As seen in the poster, the Honor 9X Lite is priced at Rs 31,999 (Pakistani Rupees), which roughly converts to somewhere around $210. The buyers who pre-book the device will also receive a ‘Free Exclusive Giftbox,’ which includes a selfie stick, a Ring Hook, and a Cable. The poster further mentions that the stock will be available in April 2020, so we can expect the global launch of the Honor 9X Lite to be somewhere around that.
Speaking of the specifications of the device, the store mentions that the Honor 9X Lite will sport a dual rear camera setup (48MP, f/1.8, 27mm(wide), 1/2″, 0.8um, PDAF + 2MP, f/2.4, (depth sensor)) – a bump up from the 20MP + 2MP dual-camera setup found on the Honor 8X device. At the front, the device will come with a 16MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. The device will measure 160.4 x 76.6 x 7.8 mm and will weigh in at 175 grams.

Coming to the display of the device, the Honor 9X Lite will flaunt a 6.5-inch FullView display with a 91% screen-to-body ratio. The Honor 9X Lite will feature a Kirin 710 processor in its heart, and the same will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. We are not sure as to whether or not there will be scope for further storage expansion. A 3,750mAh battery will keep the lights of the Honor 9X Lite. For OS, the Honor 9X Lite will run on EMUI 9.0 out of the box, and it will be upgradable to Android 10 OS.
