After a considerable period of time, Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, is going to launch its 9X Pro smartphone in India. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is gearing up to unveil the device in the country on May 12. The Honor 9X Pro is tipped to be priced somewhere around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 in India and will definitely fall under the mid-range tier of the Android ecosystem. Though the smartphone is yet to be launched in India, it is already commercially available in several markets outside the country, so we have pretty much all the intel surrounding the specifications of the device. Starting with the display of the device, the Honor 9X Pro sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ display with a 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution and a 391 pixels per inch pixel density. The device measures 163.1mm x 77.2mm x 8.8mm and weighs in at 206 grams.
Under the hood, the Honor 9X Pro has an octa-core Kirin 810 processor, which is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. If 128GB does not suffice for your media consumption needs, the same can be expanded by up to 512GB with the help of an external SD card. As far as the battery of the device is concerned, the Honor 9X Pro sports a 4,000mAh battery pack, which receives power via a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options include dual SIM card support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Coming to the cameras of the device, the Honor 9X Pro boasts a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP secondary camera, and an 8MP tertiary camera. At the front, the device comes with a 16MP motorized pop-up selfie shooter.
