Coming to the Redmi Note 8 Pro, there are three memory variants of the device – 6GB/64GB for Rs 14,999, 6GB/128GB for Rs 15,999, and 8GB/128GB for Rs 17,999. Lastly, the Realme 5 Pro is also available in three variants – 4GB/64GB for Rs 13,999, 6GB/64GB for Rs 14,999, and 8GB/128GB for Rs 16,999.

In terms of price, the base variant of the Honor 9X is the cheapest offering amongst the three. That said, if we talk about the top-of-the-line options, the 8GB/128GB variant of the Realme 5 Pro will give you the maximum amount of RAM and storage for Rs 16,999.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch at the top. The Honor 9X smartphone is powered with the company’s in-house Kirin 710F chipset. The Realme 5 Pro, on the other hand, runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset. The Redmi Note 8 Pro runs on the MediaTek G90T chipset which is aimed at the gamers out there. When it comes to processing, the Redmi Note 8 Pro wins the competition owing to the sheer power its processor offers.

As far as the software is concerned, all the three devices have their own skins built on top of Android. The Honor 9X runs on EMUI 9, the Realme 5 Pro uses ColorOS (for now), and the Redmi Note 8 Pro utilises MIUI 11. When it comes to the choice of OS, we can’t really declare a winner here as it will ultimately boil down to personal preference.
