Honor 50 Series Confirmed to Launch With Google Mobile Services

According to the latest report, Honor Germany has confirmed the news on its official Twitter handle. Last week the company shared a tweet about the upcoming Snapdragon 778 smartphone and in the same thread, a user asked a question about the handset. Replying to the comment Honor made it clear that the device is going to ship with Google services. Alongside, it has also confirmed that the Honor 50 series will retain the Magic UI along with some added features.

This seems to be good news for Honor fans across the globe and Honor 50 will be the first phone from the brands with Google Mobile service post the US-imposed ban on Huawei in May 2019. Just to recall, last year Huawei sold Honor to Zhixin New Information Technology. It is a consortium formed by dealers and agents of HOnor and Shenzhen Smart City Development Group Co. Ltd.

Since the owner of the company changed last year, the brand was in talks with Google and Qualcomm for the business. The recent announcement confirmed that the talks went well for the brand and that’s the reason the upcoming Honor 50 series is coming with the Qualcomm chipset and Google services.
