The Honor Magic 2 launch event will start today at 4:30 PM IST in China. It’s been about two months since Honor first mentioned the existence of the Honor Magic 2. However, the capable Android smartphone has been appearing in several reports. Quite recently the Honor Magic 2 appeared in the leaked official press renders. Incidentally, the Honor smartphone will have a AI-powered virtual assistant called ‘Yoyo’

The Honor Magic 2 appears to be following a new trend to increase screen real estate by steering away from the notch. Instead of the rectangular or the teardrop notch, latest smartphones from Vivo and OPPO have a sliding mechanism. We know the sliding mechanism houses three front-facing cameras. Moreover, the device features three rear-facing cameras as well. This makes the Honor Magic 2 the first commercial Android smartphone to feature a total of six cameras.
