Last month, Honor unveiled two Play series smartphones in China, the Play 4T and the Play 4T Pro. Today, we come to know that there is one more Play series phone under the pipeline. A Chinese-commerce website, JD, has listed Honor Play4 Pro smartphone on its platform, confirming the existence of the device and revealing its images from all angles. While the listing doesn’t mention any specifications of the Honor Play4 Pro, its images give us a pretty good idea about what the device will have to offer.

Honor Play4 Pro listed on JD

Before we start with the images listed on JD, I should tell you that the listing of the Play4 Pro on JD reveals that the model number of the smartphone is OXP-AN00. We have spotted the Honor OXP-AN00 on Wi-Fi Alliance and 3C certification platforms, which we will discuss below in the article.

Now, as you can see in the images attached above, the Honor Play4 Pro has a display with a wide punch-hole accommodating two front-facing cameras.

At the rear, the device has a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. The camera hump of the device mentions that one of the cameras has a 40MP resolution and the camera setup makes use of AI for capturing photos. If you watch the camera module closely, you will find that there are two small sensors below the LED flash, which, in my opinion, are modules for laser autofocus.

The phone is painted in blue, confirming that it will be one of the color options on offer. The back panel of the device has a unique, funky-looking pattern on it. Interestingly, the back panel also has a Kirin logo on it, revealing that the Honor Play4 Pro will be powered by a Kirin chipset.

The power button of the smartphone is placed in a cavity on the right-hand-side of the device, suggesting that it doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. The volume rocker is placed just above the power button. The bottom portion of the device has a USB Type-C port and the top-portion has what looks like an infrared sensor.

Last but not the least, the Honor Play4 Pro is readily available for pre-order, which is surprising considering that the phone hasn’t even been launched yet. The website states that the device will start shipping from 26th June at 11 PM.

Honor Play4 Pro spotted on 3C and Wi-Fi Alliance

We have spotted the Honor OXP-AN00 on 3C and Wi-Fi Alliance certification platforms, which, we now know, thanks to the listing on JD, is the Honor Play4 Pro.

The listing on Honor Play4 Pro on 3C reveals that the phone has 40W charging (10V x 4A) support and 5G connectivity, whereas, the listing of the smartphone on Wi-Fi Alliance reveals that the phone has dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac.
