The rumors surrounding the Honor Play 4T and the Honor Play 4T Pro smartphones have been popping up on the internet every now and then. Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has finally taken the veil off its Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 4T Pro smartphones. both Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 4T Pro are mid-range smartphones and come with value-for-money specifications and features. Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 4T Pro: Price and Availability

The Honor Play 4T is available in black and blue color variants. The device is launched in a single 6GB/128GB memory variant, which is priced at CNY 1,199. The Honor Play 4T Pro is priced at CNY 1,499 for the 6GB/128GB variant and CNY 1,699 for the 8GB/128GB variant. The Honor Play 4T Pro is available in three color options – black, emerald green, and Icelandic vision.

Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 4T Pro: Specifications and Features

Starting with the Honor Play 4T, the device features a 6.39-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 269 pixels per inch pixel density. The device comes with a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, which is located in the top right corner of the device’s display. The punch-hole houses an 8MP selfie snapper for video calls and selfies. At the back, the Honor Play 4T boasts a dual rear camera setup, which consists of a 48MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens. The Honor Play 4T measures 159.81 x 76.13 x 8.13 mm and weighs in at 176 grams.

Powering the Honor Play 4T is the company’s in-house Kirin 710A chipset, which is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage of the device has scope for further expansion with the help of an external SD card. One can top up the storage of the Honor Play 4T by up to 512GB. In the software department, the Honor Play 4T ships with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house Magic UI 3.1 skin baked on top of it. As far as the battery of the device is concerned, the Honor Play 4T sports a 4,000mAh battery, which features standard charging.

Moving on to the Pro variant, the Honor Play 4T Pro sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The Honor Play 4T Pro features an under-display fingerprint scanner. It measures 157.4 x 73.2 x 7.75 mm and weighs in at 165 grams.

Under the hood, the Honor Play 4T Pro is powered by a Kirin 810 processor, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Strangely enough, the Honor Play 4T Pro runs the now-dated Android 9 Pie-based Magic UI 2.0 OS. Coming to the battery of the device, the Honor Play 4T Pro is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery, which has support for 22.5W fast charging.

Coming to the cameras of the device, the Honor Play 4T Pro sports a triple rear camera setup, which will include a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP lens. On the front, the Honor Play 4T Pro has a 16MP selfie shooter.
