Honor Play 4T to Sport Kirin 710A SoC and Play 4T Pro to Run Android 9 Out of the Box, Leaked Specs Indicate

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is gearing up for the launch of its Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 4T Pro smartphones in China. Both devices are set to launch in the country on April 9, 2020. A little while ago, we were able to spot the Honor Play 4T Pro on the Geekbench database website, which gave us some key details about its specifications and features. Now, a new leak has popped up on the internet, which leaves little room for guesswork as all the specifications and features of the Honor Play 4T and the Honor Play 4T Pro have been leaked. Take a look at the leaked specs sheet of both devices and find out what it has in store for us.

Honor Play 4T: Leaked Specifications

As per an exclusive leak by 91mobiles, the Honor Play 4T will feature a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a 269 pixel per inch pixel density. The device will feature a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, which will be located in the top right corner of the device’s display. The punch-hole will make room for an 8MP selfie snapper for video calls and selfies. Moving around on the back of the device, the Honor Play 4T will sport a dual rear camera setup, which will include a 48MP primary lens and a 2MP secondary camera. The Honor Play 4T will feature a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner. The device will measure 159.81 x 76.13 x 8.13mm and weigh in at 176 grams. It will be available in black and blue color schemes.

Under the hood, the Honor Play 4T will pack in a Kirin 710A processor, which will be assisted by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. If that amount of internal storage does not suffice for your media consumption needs, the same can be topped up all the way up to 512GB with the help of an external microSD card. On the software side of things, the Honor Play 4T will run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house Magic UI 3.1 skin baked on top of it.

Coming to the battery of the device, the Honor Play 4T will boast a 4,000mAh battery. Sadly, there will be no support for fast charging with the Honor Play 4T.

Honor Play 4T Pro: Leaked Specifications

Coming to the Honor Play 4T Pro, the device will feature a 6.3-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 1,080 x 2,400 pixel resolution. Unlike its vanilla counterpart, the Honor Play 4T Pro will make room for an under-display fingerprint scanner. The device will measure 157.4×73.2×7.75mm and weigh 165g. There will be three color variants of the device – black, emerald green, and Icelandic vision.

Powering the Honor Play 4T Pro will be a Kirin 810 processor, which will be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The device will ship with the Android 9-based Magic UI 2.0 OS. A large 4,000mAh battery will keep the lights of the Honor Play 4T Pro on.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Honor Play 4T Pro will sport a triple rear camera setup, which will include a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP lens. At the front, the Honor Play 4T Pro will make room for a 16MP selfie shooter.
