The Honor Play 8T launch date has been revealed by Honor today. As per the details shared by the company via a teaser image, the Honor Play 8T will launch in China on October 18. The teaser shared by the brand also reveals some key specifications of the handset. The image confirms that the Honor Play 8T will have a 850 nits brightness. The smartphone will pack up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The teaser image also confirms that the device will pack a massive 6,000mAh battery.

Furthermore, the teaser also confirms that the Honor Play 8T will feature a punch-hole display. The display panel will have thin bezels across all sides. The rear of the handset will include a dual-camera setup which will be accompanied by an LED flash. The text engraved beside the camera module reveals that the handset will feature a 50MP primary camera. The image also confirms that the SIM card slot will be located on the right edge of the device.

The upcoming Honor Play 8T will be arriving as a successor to the Honor Play 7T smartphone. To recall, the Honor Play 7T was launched by Honor earlier this year in March. The Honor Play 7T features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display that has a 90Hz refresh rate and a HD+ resolution. The device is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Dimensity 6020 SoC which is aided with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset boasts a 50MP dual-camera setup, a 5MP selfie camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The other key features which the device offer includes a 6,000mAh battery which supports 22.5W fast charging.
The price of the Honor Play 7T starts at CNY 1,099 (Roughly Rs 12,506) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage costs CNY 1,299 (Roughly Rs 14,872). The device comes in Black, Blue, and Silver colours. Alongside, the Honor Play 7T, Honor also had introduced the Honor Play 7T Pro. The Honor Play 7T Pro features a 6.7-inch display, Dimensity 6020 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 50MP dual-camera setup, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 4,000mAh battery.
