Honor India’s launch has been confirmed by a new trademark leak. The leak has been shared by the popular tipster Mukul Sharma on his Twitter handle @stufflistings. The trademark reveals that the name of the upcoming smartphone will be Honor for Knights. The bio on Madhav Sheth’s Twitter handle has also confirmed the same. It’s being speculated that the Huawei sub-brand, which pulled from the Indian market due to US restrictions in 2020, is expected to make a comeback in August. Here are all details of the latest leak.

Honor Knight Smartphone Launch in India Reportedly Set for August

As you can see in the tweet above, Honor has trademarked a new name, likely for an upcoming smartphone. Mukul Sharma has shared the trademark leak on his Twitter handle. The trademark has been listed as Class 9, which refers to computers, software, and electronics. The trademark description also reveals that it’s for cell phones and accessories. Therefore it’s safe to assume that the trademark is for a new smartphone to be launched soon in India. According to the leak, the launch might happen sometime next month.

The image shows the trademarked name Honor for Knights. It seems to be a tentative name, and the actual name of the smartphone could be Honor Knight. This is also confirmed by the Twitter bio of ex-Realme CEO Madhav Sheth, which now reads, “When is the KNIGHT coming?”

Madhav Sheth is the proprietor of the registered trademark, and the hint in the bio almost confirms that Madhav Sheth will be key to re-launching Honor in India. While the company has not announced Sheth’s appointment yet, this is as good proof as any. We can expect the Huawei sub-brand to announce Sheth as the Honor India CEO at the same event and take everyone by surprise.

There has been a report about Sheth joining Honor India as its CEO. However, he responded to the report by saying it was just speculation. However, it’s now confirmed that Sheth is joining Honor India and will play a crucial role in the brand’s re-launch. He previously served as the Vice President of Realme and President of Realme International Business Group.
