The Honor V Purse smartphone will launch in China on September 19. The device was introduced by Honor at the IFA 2023 event a few days back. The Honor V Purse resembles a handbag and the it folds outwards. The smartphone also looks similar to the Huawei Mate Xs 2 which was introduced last year. The newly announced Honor V Purse has a sleek design and it measures 9mm in terms of thickness. The smartphone can be worn like a purse as it has chain-link straps which is detachable.
Honor V Purse Launch Date Confirmed
During the announcement on September 1, Honor had not revealed any details about the availability of the device. However, as confirmed by the company today, the smartphone will launch in China on September 19. The teaser revealed online shows Yang Yang, a popular Chinese actor holding the Honor V Purse. The actor has invited the audience to witness a fashion show on September 19 in Shanghai, where the device will be announced.
The specifications of the smartphone remain unknown as of now. However, the company had revealed a few details about the device at the IFA 2023 event. The brand confirmed that the straps attached to the smartphone are made using Vegan leather. Furthermore, the company also has collaborated with BURBERRY’s Bram Van Diepen and artist Yunuene Esparza to design the custom Always-on Display for the device. We shall get to learn more details of the device once it goes official in China on September 1.
To recall, Honor also had announced the Honor Magic V2 smartphone globally at the IFA 2023 event. The Honor Magic V2 boasts a 7.92-inch foldable LTPO OLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2344 × 2156 pixels resolution. The outer display on the device is of 6.43-inches, and it has a 2376 × 1060 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 2500 nits brightness. The smartphone features a 50MP triple-camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The other key features which the handset offer includes 5G SA/NSA support, a 5000mAh battery, and 66W fast charging support.
Alongside, the Honor Magic V2, Honor also announced the Honor 90 in Peacock Blue colour at IFA 2023 event. The smartphone is also set to launch in India on September 14. Ahead of the official launch, the company has been confirming several aspects of the device. As confirmed by the brand earlier, the Honor 90 will be featuring a 200MP triple-camera setup, a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1600 nits brightness. The device is confirmed to ship with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone could launch in India in Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Diamond Silver colour options.
