Android Pie is the latest version of Android which is currently rolling out to devices. Now, the Honor View 10 smartphone is going to receive the Android Pie update which brings with it EMUI 9.0 and a bunch of new cool features. Honor View 10 receiving Android Pie update in Europe
The Android Pie update for the Honor view 10 smartphone is currently only rolling out in Europe. However, this doesn’t mean that owners of the device in question will never get the update. The update is being rolled out in phases or waves and Europe happens to be a part of the first wave. The European version of the device bears the model number ‘BKL-L09’ and the build number of the latest update is ‘9.0.0.108’.
The update is currently being rolled out as an OTA update which can easily be automatically downloaded. If your device isn’t prompted with an update, check under the software update options in the settings tab. The process is pretty straightforward and requires little to no technical knowledge. The update brings with it stability and performance improvements It even fixes minor bugs and improves compatibility with different apps and networks. Since the update upgrades the device to MUI 9.0, users can look forward to added features like GPU Turbo 2.0, a password vault, a travel assistant, and some added Digital Wellbeing features.
Honor View 10 is quite a powerhouse
The Honor View 10 smartphone sports 5.99-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2160p. Powering the device is the Kirin 970 SoC. Coupled with it is either 4GB/6GB. The smartphone is available in different storage variants of 64GB as well as 128GB. In terms of camera performance, it features a dual-rear camera setup of 16MP+20MP and a single front-facing selfie shooter of 13MP.
