The Honor View 20 made its global debut just a few days ago. The Huawei sub-brand is on track to release the phone in India on January 29, with pre-orders for the smartphone underway right now. Its international pricing had given us a fair idea of what to expect whenever the phone makes its way to the Indian market. However, a new leak has emerged which claims the phone will be priced at INR 35,999 in this country. Furthermore, only its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is expected to arrive here, with Midnight Black and Blue Sapphire color variants to choose from.
Considering the Honor View 20’s 6GB RAM variant costs CNY 2,999 in China and €569 in Europe, it was initially being assumed that the phone would be priced closer to INR 31,000. However, the slightly higher purported pricing of the device means it would be going against the likes of the OnePlus 6T. If this is the case, then the Honor View 20 would face immense competition.
Regardless, this is the first time consumers will be getting their hands on a phone with a punch-hole selfie camera. With the View 20, users shall receive a 6.4-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. The punch-hole will house a 25MP selfie camera, while the back of the phone features a massive 48MP primary sensor paired with a TOF 3D stereo camera. Under the hood, the View 10 gets a Kirin 980 SoC that gets power from a 4000mAh battery. You also get a fingerprint sensor at the back and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top of the phone.
Honor Watch Magic and Honor Band 4 Running To Also Debut on January 29
It is also being reported that the Honor Watch Magic and Honor Band 4 Running will be launching in India alongside the Honor View 20 on 29 January. The Watch Magic was unveiled alongside the View 20 at the recent launch event in Paris. It so happens that Amazon India already has listings for this watch on its site. However, the INR 20,990 leads us to believe it is being sold by an international retailer, especially since its €179 launch price means it should be priced closer to INR 15,000.
Either way, the Honor Watch Magic is a smartwatch that comes in a 9.8mm thick stainless steel body with a 1.2-inch AMOLED screen. This display offers a 390 x 390 pixels resolution with a pixel density of 326 PPI. As for its features, you get 3 Satellite Positioning Systems, Huawei’s TruSleep monitoring tech, heart rate monitoring, workout tracking and more.
The Honor Band 4 Running, on the other hand, is expected to be unveiled on 29 January. The Band 4 Running is said to come with six-axis sensors that allow management of a user’s posture while running.
