Honor X10 with HiSilicon Kirin 820 SoC, 40MP Triple Camera Setup Launched: Price, Specifications

Honor X10 is an entry-level 5G smartphone with a Kirin 820 processor.


Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has finally taken the veil off its Honor X10 5G smartphone. The Honor X10 comes with mid-range specifications and features like a Kirin 820 5G mobile platform, a 40MP primary lens, and a 90Hz refresh rate display. Currently, the company has launched the Honor X10 in China. Well, without waiting any further, take a look at the price, availability, specifications, and features of the recently launched Honor X10 smartphone and find out what it has in store for us.

Honor X10: Price and availability

The Honor X10 is launched in three memory variants – one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is priced at CNY 1,899 or around INR 20,200, one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is priced at CNY 2,199 or around INR 23,455, and the top-of-the-line variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, which is priced at CNY 2,399 or around INR 25,590. The Honor X10 is available in Blue, Black, Orange, and Silver color options and is up for order in China starting today. The device will go on sale in the country from May 26, 2020.

Honor X10: Specifications and features

Starting with the display of the device, the Honor X10 features a 6.63-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD 2.5D curved glass panel with a 2,400 x 1,080 pixel resolution. The display of the Honor X10 boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and the front of the device is mostly occupied by the display, as the Honor X10 features a pop-up selfie snapper. Coming to the cameras of the device, the Honor X10 sports a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary camera (Sony IMX600 sensor) with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is a 16MP unit with f/2.2 aperture. The device measures 163.7×76.5×8.8mm and weighs in at 203 grams.

Under the hood, the Honor X10 is equipped with the company’s in-house Kirin 820 mid-range 5G processor, which is clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the Honor X10 ships the latest Android 10 OS with Magic UI 3.1.1 skin baked on top of it. Owing to the IPS LCD panel, the Honor X10 sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Coming to the battery of the device, the Honor X10 sports a 4,300mAh battery, which has support for up to 22.5W fast charging. Connectivity features of the Honor X10 include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C charging port.
