Japanese tech giant Sony continues to stay on its mission to bring first-party games to PC, as the critically praised PS5 sequel Horizon Forbidden West will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store early next year. On September 27, the company in partnership with Nixxes Software, announced that Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition will make its way to PC in 2024. Nixxes Software was acquired by Sony in 2021 and it is known for its work in PC ports of Spider-Man games, Tomb Raider and more.
Horizon Forbidden West is Horizon Zero Dawn’s sequel and will be released as a complete-edition package that includes both Horizon Forbidden West and its Burning Shores expansion, as well as various extras. Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition will be available for PS5 owners on October 6, before it is released on PC.

Horizon Forbidden West begins six months after Horizon Zero Dawn ends, with a stunning landscape consisting of icy mountains and rainforest marshes to explore.

Sony intends to distribute 50% of its games on PC and mobile by 2025, and titles like as Horizon Forbidden West and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart are surely expanding Sony’s gaming reach beyond the PS4 and PS5 systems. Sony has also been rumoured to be considering a PlayStation PC launcher after references to it were spotted in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PC last year. Sony started using the PlayStation PC branding in 2021, shortly after acquiring Nixxes.
