HP Envy 14, Envy 15 Laptops with 11th Gen Intel Core Processors, Up To GeForce RTX 3060 GPU Launched in India: Price, Specifications

HP India has announced the launch of the HP Envy 14 and Envy 15 premium ultrabooks in India. The two new laptops target slightly different buyer groups — while the HP Envy 14 is strictly geared for portability and are meant for business users with internet-based primary tasks in their workloads, the Envy 15 can be configured with up to 11th gen Intel Core i9 processors and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, with HP presumably considering the laptop’s large display to be meant for users with creative workloads as the primary user group.

HP Envy 14, Envy 15: price and availability

The HP Envy 14 is priced onward of Rs 1.05 lakh, while the Envy 15 SKUs will cost onward of Rs 1.55 lakh. Both the models are available in only one colour — Natural Silver. The laptops are available across offline HP World stores, and the online HP India e-commerce site as well. All other usual retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital and others will also have the laptop up for sale. The new laptops can be availed in exchange of older HP laptops, with exchange discount of up to Rs 15,000.

Key specifications

Starting with the HP Envy 14, the laptop features a 14-inch, full HD+ display with 16:10 aspect ratio, 400 nits peak brightness and 100 percent sRGB colour coverage. In terms of performance, it features an 11th gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, along with 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650Ti Max-Q discrete GPU as well. HP claims to have custom configured the performance of the laptop for ‘creative’ apps such as the Adobe suite, and the Envy 14 can therefore serve as a compact laptop for professionals looking for a mobile solution.

Other key specs include one USB-C with Thunderbolt 4 support, two USB-A, one HDMI 2.0 and one 3.5mm audio combo port in terms of connectivity. It also comes with an HD webcam and a fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello recognition, dual Bang & Olufsen-branded speakers, a backlit keyboard, 63.3Wh battery, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, and a promised upgrade to Windows 11 later this year.

The HP Envy 15, meanwhile, can be configured with up to an 11th gen Intel Core i9 processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 discrete GPU. It features a 15.6-inch full HD+ display with 16:10 aspect ratio, which has identical specs to the Envy 14 apart from the size. SKUs of the Envy 15 will come with up to 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD, clearly gearing it for demanding users. The Envy 15 also features a card reader, and has two USB-C and two USB-A ports, instead of one and three respectively in the Envy 14.
