Back in December last year, HP introduced esports Gold Quest scholarships at the OMEN FanFest 2020. The company had announced that it will be selecting three applicants to be a part of the esports Gold Quest scholarship. HP promised that it will be offering an annual scholarship worth Rs 12 lakhs for the three winners. With this scholarship, HP even assured to include a full esports kit from OMEN, a monthly salary of Rs 50,000, and an international training stint for the three selected winners. HP Opens Registration For OMEN Esports Gold Quest Scholarship
With the OMEN esports Gold Quest scholarship, HP will be providing necessary financial aid, OMEN gaming gear, skills, and exposure to help the aspirant to compete on the global stage and become future esports stars. As mentioned above, HP has opened registration for the OMEN esports Gold Quest scholarship starting from today i.e March 31. The company will be accepting entries till April 30 for this scholarship. Thereafter, the applicants will go through a selection process in May and June, and HP will announce the winners by the end of June.
The scholarship will commence from July 1st, 2020, and it will be carried on till 30th June 2022. Do note that this scholarship will be open to the Indian applicants in the 18 – 23 year age group. You will be required to enter your details such as name, email address, and game details in the form for registration.
The selected winners will get an annual scholarship worth Rs 12 lakhs each. The aspirants will even be offered international esports training and an OMEN Gaming Gear comprising of a HP OMEN Laptop powered by AMD Ryzen, and much more. The gaming gear offered by HP will even also include a headset, mouse, keyboard, and monitor. Additionally, as mentioned by HP back in December, winners will even get a salary and expert mentoring along with international exposure with the OMEN Gold Quest scholarship. Now that esports is becoming a global phenomenon, with the OMEN Gold Quest scholarship initiative, HP just seems to give a boost to the PC gaming culture in India.
