
HP has refreshed its lineup in India with the launch of new Omen and Victus series laptops. The company has introduced its new gaming-focused performance laptops with the latest 13th generation Intel Core chip and RTX 4070 GPU. One of the newly-launched HP laptops is the OMEN Transcend 16, which is said to be the company’s lightest and thinnest gaming laptop with strong performance and cooling upgrades. There is also the Victus 16 gaming notebook introduced alongside the HyperX 27-inch QHD Gaming Monitor. Let’s take a look at the price, specifications and features of the new HP Omen and Victus series laptops introduced in India.
HP Omen Transcend 16
The HP Omen Transcend 16, as the name suggests, has a 16-inch display. It features a mini-LED panel with up to WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution. The laptop is HP’s lightest and thinnest gaming laptop in India. The company revealed that the Omen Transcend 16 weighs under 2.1 kg and is 19.9mm thick.
The Omen Transcend 16 is the first and only Omen laptop to utilise a magnesium frame. It features a 13th-generation Intel Core i9-13900HX processor with Nvidia’s RTX 4070 GPUs. The laptop packs a 97Whr battery pack for long gaming sessions. HP also stated that the Omen Transcend 16 stays cool while playing top titles and even while multitasking with advanced OMEN Tempest Cooling. It is built with a bigger outlet open ratio and stronger thermal airflow for maximum cooling. The Omen Transcend 16 is available at a starting price of Rs 1,59,999.
Omen 16
The Omen 16 has received upgrades across the board in CPU, GPU, and display speeds. The 16-inch display has up to a QHD resolution with 240Hz refresh rate support and a 3ms response time. Under the hood, there is a 13th-generation Intel Core i7 processor with up to Nvidia RTX 4050 GPUs. It also comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a newly designed airflow system for better heat dissipation.
The Omen 16 has a starting price of Rs 1,04,999 in India.
Victus 16
For those who want value for money gaming experience, there is the new Victus 16. The budget gaming laptop features a 13th-generation Intel Core i7 processor with Nvidia RTX 4060 GPUs. With Omen Dynamic Power, users can start their gaming journeys with the flexibility for schoolwork, entertainment, and content creation. The laptop also features HP’s Omen Tempest Cooling solution as well as an IR thermopile sensor to accurately manage temperatures.
The Victus 16 has a starting price of Rs 59,999 in India.
HyperX 27-inch QHD Gaming Monitor
The new HyperX 27-inch QHD gaming monitor is built for enthusiast gamers to immerse themselves in gaming, movies, and videos. It comes with a highly customisable monitor setup, allowing gamers to adjust the tilt and height and an ergonomic mounted arm to better optimise desk space.
The 27-inch monitor offers a 165Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time for a smoother and elevated gaming experience. It also has a QHD resolution and is VESA Display HDR 400-certified. The HyperX 227-inch Gaming Monitor is available at a starting price of Rs 30,990 in India.
HP also introduced its HyperX Cloud II Core Wireless Gaming headset, which is priced at Rs 9,190.
