HP Pavilion Plus 14, x360 14 Launched with 12th Gen Intel Processors: Price, Specs

The HP Pavilion Plus 14 features a metal body, and the company has claimed that it is the slimmest Pavilion laptop till date.

Earlier today, HP India announced the launch of two new laptops in the company’s Pavilion series, the HP Pavilion Plus 14 and the Pavilion x360 14. At the launch, HP, India’s biggest laptop OEM by volume, said that the new Pavilion Plus 14 is the slimmest Pavilion laptop made till date. The new laptops bring 12th gen Intel processors, along with a host of other features in tow.

The HP Pavilion Plus 14 is priced onward of Rs 78,999, configured with 12th gen Intel Core i5 processors, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. For a similar configuration, the HP Pavilion x360 14 costs Rs 76,999. Both the laptops are available in India starting today, across all online and offline HP retailers.

Key Specifications

Starting with the HP Pavilion Plus 14, the laptop features 12th generation Intel Core H-series processors, in Core i5 and Core i7 variants. The laptop is the more powerful of the two, and the 12th gen Core i7’s power consumption is rated at 45W throughput. This is further paired with 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD for storage. Both can be manually configured for higher performance.

The 14-inch display on the Pavilion Plus 14 laptop offers 2.2K screen resolution, as well as 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut. It gets Intel Iris X integrated graphics as well, and a 51Wh battery powers the laptop. It also gts a 90W USB-C charger, and in terms of ports, gets two USB-C ports, two USB-A, one HDMI 2.1 and one 3.5mm audio port.

The laptop measures 16.5mm in thickness, and weighs 1.4kg.

The HP Pavilion x360 14, meanwhile offers 12th gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors in the U trim, which stands for efficiency. The laptops also get the same RAM and storage choices as the Pavilion Plus 14. The 14-inch display, meanwhile, gets full HD resolution and offers touch input. The port layout is also similar, but instead of a second USB-C port, the laptop gets an AC adapter socket.

Other key specifications include a 43Wh battery, and 65W charger. It weighs 1.5kg, and measures 19mm in thickness.
