HP has launched a new series of printers in India for small businesses and home users. The company has unveiled HP Smart Tank 700 series printers which consist of three new printers – HP Smart Tank 720, HP Smart Tank 750, and HP Smart Tank 790. The company says these new printers are designed to offer a seamless printing experience and they have features like smart guided lighting, low ink and paper sensors with mobile alerts that inform users before the ink runs out.

The HP Smart Tank 720 is priced at Rs 20,049, the HP Smart Tank 750 is available for Rs 22,480 and the HP Smart Tank 790 wireless is priced at Rs 24,910. All three HP Smart Tank 700 series printers are available on HP’s official website
HP Smart Tank 700 series Features
The HP Smart Tank 700 series with 2 years of ink supply that prints 12,000 pages (black) and 8000 pages (colour) which also saves up to 80% on ink costs in the process. These can be used to print, copy, and scan. The printers also come with features like a spill-free refill system, smart shortcuts, text recognition and intelligent file naming which saves time. Further, you get support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy along with HP Smart App that allows easy mobile scanning and printing.
As said earlier, these new Smart Tank 700 series printers are targeted at small business users and also home users. These printers also come with security features to maintain privacy which includes basic encryption and a password control system. The printer makes sure it’s running without any known vulnerabilities. During the bootup time, it automatically checks the critical codes and if it’s compromised, instinctively stops. It also prevents the introduction of any malicious code while the printer is running.
Further, these are also HP’s first ink tank printers to be made from over 25% recycled plastic which reduces the amount of plastic used. Similarly, the compatible HP ink bottles can be recycled through HP Planet Partners. HP Smart Tank 790 and HP Smart Tank 750 offers a warranty of one year or the first 50,000 pages while the HP Smart Tank 720 offers a warranty of one year or the first 30,000 pages, whichever is earlier.
