Huawei recently announced the Huawei Band 4 which is more or less the rebranded version of the Honor Band 5. Now, the company is reportedly prepping up to launch its Pro variant. As a matter of fact, the design and the color variants of the Huawei Band 4 Pro have already got leaked.
Huawei Band 4 Pro: Design, Color Variants, and Features
As far as the looks of the band are concerned, the Huawei Band 4 Pro will look more or less the same as its younger counterpart. We will once again get to see a silicon strap and a power adaptor coming up with the Band 4 Pro (though the possibility of the company adopting a USB port that would be concealed within the strap cannot be ignored).
If the recently leaked patent designs are to be believed, the concealed USB charging connector can be directly plugged into any standard wall charger that makes use of a USB Type-A port
As seen in the image, the Huawei Band 4 Pro will feature a colored display which will be accompanied by a capacitive button. The much-dreaded bezels are still there and the overall form factor has stayed intact this time around as well.
That said, we can clearly see a slew of new wallpapers coming up with the Band 4 Pro. Furthermore, there are three color variants of the band – Black, Red, and Rose Pink. The straps will be interchangeable and one can choose the color variant as per their own liking.
As of now, the specifications of the band are not clear, but we can safely make out that it will borrow most of the specifications from its predecessor, the Huawei Band 3 Pro.
For instance, we can expect the same 0.95-inch HD AMOLED display to make its way to the Huawei Band 4 Pro. The watch faces that were available with the standard Huawei Band 4 will be there with the Pro variant as well (with the probable addition of 10 new watch faces which will display the information in several different layouts).
Coming to the battery of the band, since the Huawei Band 3 Pro is fueled with a 100mAh battery, we can very well expect the Huawei Band 4 Pro to feature at least that much of battery (or maybe more).
Moreover, the Huawei Band 4 Pro will be able to track walking, running, swimming, cycling, and other physical activities of a similar nature. Also, there will be 5ATM water resistance for sure. The presence of a heart rate monitor and a SpO2 meter to inform you of the amount of oxygen is also highly likely.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, the Huawei Band 4 Pro will be able to work well with both Android as well as iOS devices.
As of now, it is unclear as to when the company will decide to make the band official. The rest of the specifications of the band are also unclear, but we are sure to get more information in the coming days.
