Huawei has finally announced the Huawei Band 4 Pro during its recent event held in China. The band comes as a successor to the company’s previous year’s Huawei Band 3 Pro and shares some of its features with the same. There, of course, are certain new features that the company has incorporated with the Huawei Band 4 Pro and we will be talking about all of them alongside the price of the band in this article.
Huawei Band 4 Pro fitness tracker: Price
The Huawei Band 4 Pro is priced at CNY 399 in China which roughly translates to somewhere around INR 4,000 or USD 56. The band will go on sale in China on December 12. As of now, the company has not specified any details about the global launch.
Huawei Band 4 Pro: Specifications and Features
We’ll start the specifications journey with the thing that matters the most – the display. The Huawei Band 4 Pro comes with a 0.95-inch AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved glass and 240×120 pixels resolution. The band has a touchscreen display which also retains the home button found on its predecessor. The band measures 45 x 19 x 11mm and weighs in at 25 grams (this included the weight of the strap).
The Huawei Band 4 Pro comes with features like continuous heart rate tracking (TruSeen 3.5 accurate real-time heart rate monitoring and AI algorithm analysis) and GPS support which enable you to track your workout activities without having to carry your mobile device while doing the same. As a matter of fact, the Huawei Band 4 Pro comes with 11 sports modes (treadmill running, indoor cycling, indoor walking, outdoor running, outdoor cycling, outdoor walking, free training, open water swimming, and rowing machine).
Furthermore, the band is water-resistant by up to 50 meters and it comes with a Swim stroke recognition feature. There is a SpO2 sensor for estimating blood oxygen levels. Moreover, we get NFC support with the Huawei Band 4 Pro. Some additional features including music playback control, sedentary reminder, and TruSleep 2.0 sleep monitoring technology are also included with the Huawei Band 4 Pro.
The band comes with Bluetooth 4.2 LE connectivity which means that any Android device running on Android 4.4 (or later) and any Apple device running on iOS 9.0 (or later) can be paired with it. As far as sensors are concerned, the Huawei Band 4 Pro comes with 6-axis sensors (accelerometer sensor, gyro sensor), infrared wearing detection sensor, PPG heart rate sensor, and SpO2 sensor. The Huawei Band 4 Pro is water and dust resistant up to 50 meter/5 ATM.
As far as the battery of the Huawei Band 4 Pro is concerned, we get a 100mAh battery coming up with the band which, as per the company, would last up to 5 days on a single charge.
