Huawei Enjoy 20e is set to be the next generation budget smartphone from the Chinese OEM. The brand, which was once close to becoming the top global smartphone vendor, is now a bit part player at best — that too largely focused on the Chinese market. However, this has not stopped Huawei from making regular launches across certain segments. The Enjoy 20e is tipped to be the next in line on these terms, offering users a value centric offering with the Huawei logo slapped on.
In terms of key features and specifications, the Huawei Enjoy 20e already has some of its key details revealed officially. This is largely thanks to its official listing on the Huawei website, which gives potential buyers in China a fair idea of what to expect. In terms of the specifications, the official details include a 5,000mAh battery, along with a 6.3-inch HD resolution LCD display. The design of the phone, which too has surfaced, showcases further details such as a U-shaped notch at the front, a dual rear camera module with an LED flash, and a physical fingerprint sensor at the rear.
In terms of its general design, the Huawei Enjoy 20e is also seen to feature two colours — Magenta and Green. The smartphone’s pricing has also been revealed to be CNY 999, which translates to around Rs 11,700. This pegs the smartphone squarely in the budget and mid-budget smartphone category. Huawei has teased the phone to be coming soon, but most reports have claimed that the Enjoy 20e will be launched during the 11/11 sale event in China, slated to be held on the eponymous date, November 11.
Rumours also state that the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek processor, while official details have already revealed that the smartphone will come with 128GB storage. It is unlikely that the smartphone will feature a high resolution display panel, but the finer details — such as the exact RAM and storage variants, still remain under wraps. The smartphone is sure to feature Huawei Mobile Services and an alternate app store, and not the Google Play Store.
