Huawei recently acknowledged the existence of next-gen Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro premium Android smartphones. However, the Chinese smartphone giant refrained from offering any details. Surprisingly, Polish media have inadvertently leaked the prices of the flagship Android smartphones.
The upcoming Huawei Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro smartphones have been appearing regularly in leaks, reports and even videos. Huawei while announcing these high-end Android handsets at an event mentioned a few highlights, including the presence of next-gen HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset; other details are still hard to come by. A few days back, an Israeli publication G-Rafa shared some highly interesting promotional posters that allegedly reveal the Huawei Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro. Now, Polish media may have confirmed the prices of these powerful Huawei smartphones.
Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro Price Leaked
According to the Polish media, the Huawei Mate 20 will cost 2,999 zloty (local Polish currency). The figure converts to about CNY 5,570, which in turn translates to Rs. 59,800 price in India approximately. Interestingly, the better equipped Huawei Mate 20 Pro commands a substantially higher price. The Polish media reported that the Mate 20 Pro costs 4,299 zloty or CNY 7,985, which translates to Rs. 85,000 price in India approximately.
The Huawei Mate 20 price seems consistent to the specifications and features that Huawei has integrated in the device. However, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro price seems a little on the higher side. Still, Huawei has embedded several industry-first features within the Mate 20 Pro. Features like Voice Unlock, SuperCharge 2.0, nano-SD Cards, Bone Voice ID, etc. are currently non-existent in commercial smartphones.
Specifications and Features of Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro
Huawei hasn’t offered detailed specifications of any of the Mate 20 smartphones. But according to previous leaks, the Huawei Mate 20 will feature a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone could have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for the base variant. Surprisingly, Huawei may embed the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the Mate 20, but not in the Mate 20 Pro.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is the elder brother with better specifications than the Mate 20 smartphone. The device will probably have a 6.3-inch curved OLED display with a QHD+ resolution. It will also have better memory configuration than the Mate 20. It may pack an impressive 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The handset will have an IP68 rating as well as a slightly larger 4200mAh battery. Some of the extra features within the Mate 20 Pro could be Voice Unlock, SuperCharge 2.0, nano-SD Cards, Bone Voice ID, 3D structure light, in-display fingerprint scanner, etc.
Both the Huawei flagship smartphones will have the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC clocked at 2.6GHz. The other most prominent feature is the presence of a triple camera setup called the “Square Leica Three-shot”. The camera unit will have 40MP + 16MP + 8MP dual rear camera lenses. There will be a large 24MP front-facing camera on the flagship Huawei smartphones.
