Huawei’s latest flagship smartphone, the Mate 20 Pro is arguably its most impressive flagship device till date. The smartphone features an impressive Quad HD+ AMOLED display, 7nm Kirin 980 processor, triple rear cameras, and a few other advanced features. Huawei had rolled out a software update for the Mate 20 Pro earlier this month, aimed at further enhancing the impressive camera performance of the smartphone. The company has now come out with another new software update for the Mate 20 Pro. While the flagship smartphone is currently on sale in China and Europe, it is soon expected to be launched in India as an Amazon-exclusive. Ahead of its launch in the country, a ‘Notify Me’ page is now live on Amazon.in.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro Receives a New Software Update to Optimize Wi-Fi Performance
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has received a new software update in Europe, which brings some improvements to the Wi-Fi performance. Apart from optimizing the Wi-Fi, the update does not include any other improvement or new feature. It weighs in at just 10.91MB in terms of size, which means users can easily download it over the cellular data network and install it within a few minutes. It carries the build number 9.0.0.122(C432E10R1P16patch04). If you own the global variant of the Mate 20 Pro and have not received the latest update yet, we recommend checking for the update manually.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro ‘Notify Me’ Page Goes Live on Amazon India
The Mate 20 Pro is set to be launched in India later this month. While no specific launch date has been officially confirmed yet, a ‘Notify Me’ page is now live on Amazon.in. If you are interested in getting the Mate 20 Pro, you can subscribe to receive updates from Amazon once the smartphone is formally launched in India. The product page had gone live on Amazon India earlier this week, highlighting some of the key features of the latest Huawei flagship smartphone. A support page for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro had also gone live recently, listing only the base configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Since the high-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version of the Mate 20 Pro has not been listed on the Huawei India website yet, there is a chance that the company may only launch the base version in India.
The Mate 20 Pro will take on other flagship smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the Apple iPhone XS Max in the country. As for pricing, we are expecting the Mate 20 Pro to be priced slightly higher than the Galaxy Note 9 (review), which starts at INR 67,900 for the base version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Huawei’s previous flagship smartphone, the P20 Pro was launched in India at INR 64,999 in April this year. The Mate 20 Pro comes is similar to the P20 Pro (review) in the camera department but comes with several other upgrades that make it a more impressive flagship smartphone.
