Huawei is all set to introduce the Mate 40 series in China later today. Ahead of the launch, detailed specifications of the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ has surfaced online. Reputed leakster, Ishan Agarwal has leaked all the hardware details of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ on Twitter. As per the information leaked by Ishan, Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ and Mate 40 RS Porsche Edition will feature the same specifications. These devices will come with 5G capabilities and sport Kirin 9000 under-the-hood along with 12GB RAM. Let us have a look at the leaked specifications of the upcoming Huawei devices,

Huawei Mate 40 Pro+: Leaked Specifications
Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ is said to feature a 6.76-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2772×1344 pixels. The display on the Mate 40 Pro+ has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz sampling rate. Under-the-hood, the smartphone will pack Huawei in-house Kirin 9000 SoC with 5G connectivity. It is said to pack a whopping 12GB RAM which is in line with the earlier leak that had suggested that the smartphone will be offered in 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. The smartphone will run EMUI 11 on top of Android but similar to recently launched Huawei devices, it will not have Google services.
Coming to the optics, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ will offer a 50MP penta-rear camera setup, similar to the Mate 40 Pro. The 50MP primary sensor on the Mate 40 Pro+ will have an f/1.9 aperture and OIS. The primary sensor on the device will be accompanied by a 20MP Movie Cam with f/2.4 aperture, a 12MP Telephoto lens with OIS and f/2.4 aperture, and an 8MP SuperZoom lens with f/4.4 aperture, 10X optical zoom, up to 100X digital zoom, and OIS, and a 3D Camera. The Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Edition will also support 8K recording.
On the front, there is a 13MP SuperSensing lens with f/2.4, and a 3D lens with face unlock. The smartphone will have a stereo speaker setup. As per the leaked information, these smartphones will pack a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support, that will charge the device in 47 minutes. These devices will support 50W Wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. The devices will have water and dust resistant IP68 rating and have an IR sensor as well.
