The company has now refreshed the series with the launch of a new smartphone named Mate 60 Pro in China. It is a phone that comes with a unique-looking triple punch-hole display and also offers satellite connectivity. Let’s have a closer look at what else it brings to the table.

Huawei Mate 60 Pro Price and Availability
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro has three configuration variants: 12GB of RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB of RAM with 512GB storage, and 12GB of RAM with 1TB storage. However, only the 12GB/256GB variant is up for grabs at the time of writing this. It is listed with a price of CNY 6,999 (about Rs 79,398) on VMall.
The Mate 60 Pro can be purchased in Black, Purple, Green, and Silver colour options. The smartphone is currently limited to China with no words on the global release yet.
Huawei Mate 60 Pro Specifications and Features
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro features a 6.82-inch Full HD+ (2720 x 1260 pixels) LTPO OLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports the P3 wide colour gamut and has second-gen Kunlun glass protection. The unique thing about the design is that you will notice three punch-hole cutouts on the display. One of them is for the front camera and the other two are meant for 3D ToF sensors for face unlock functionality.
The official product listing of the smartphone does not mention any processor-related details. However, it does mention the Mate 60 Pro comes with 12GB of RAM. Its onboard storage options are 256GB, 512GB, and a whopping 1TB. It further supports storage expansion up to 256GB.
The back panel has the signature circular camera module that we have been seeing on Huawei Mate smartphones for quite some time. It houses a total of three cameras headlined by a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.4 to f/4.0 variable aperture and OIS. The other two cameras include a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 48MP ultra-macro telephoto sensor with f/3.0 aperture and OIS.
Moving to the front, you will get a 13MP ultra-wide-angle selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 88W fast charging. It also has 50W fast wireless charging and 20W wireless reverse charging. You also get phone calling via satellite connectivity support with the smartphone.
It will ship with HarmonyOS 4.0 as the software experience. Other notable Mate 60 Pro features include a USB Type-C port, 3D facial recognition, dual-band WiFi, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
