The tablet ecosystem has not seen too many tablets getting launched lately. Amongst all the manufacturers out there, Huawei and Samsung appear to be the only noteworthy brands that are still launching tablets every now and then. Huawei, in particular, appears to be in the works to take the wraps off a new tablet soon. A poster for an upcoming Huawei tablet, which will allegedly be dubbed the Huawei MatePad, has recently popped up on the internet, which reveals some of its leaked specifications and features. Furthermore, another Huawei tablet, which goes by the name Huawei MatePad T, has also surfaced on the internet, as its renders have recently been leaked. As a matter of fact, the Huawei MatePad T has also appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website. Take a look at what we know about the upcoming Huawei MatePad and Huawei MatePad T tablets.

Huawei MatePad and Huawei MatePad: Key Specifications and Pictures Leaked

Starting off with the Huawei MatePad, a poster for the company’s upcoming tablet has recently been spotted on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. As seen in the leaked poster, the Huawei MatePad will be a 5G device. The Huawei MatePad will come in two color options – gray and white. The bezels surrounding the device’s display appear to be pretty minimal. Then again, we cannot entirely rely on a promotional poster to judge the bezels, so let’s move on to what else the poster reveals about the Huawei MatePad.

The Huawei MatePad is seen making use of a stylus, which means that the tablet might be promoted as a productivity tool for the creators out there. The poster also says that the Huawei MatePad will feature a 2K display. Under the hood, the Huawei MatePad will be powered by the company’s in-house Kirin 810 processor. The Huawei MatePad could very well be targeted for students, at least that’s what the exclusive educational feature the poster talks about is hinting at.

The tablet is said to sport 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A 7,250mAh battery is said to keep the lights of the Huawei MatePad on, and the same will reportedly be charged over a USB Type-C port. In the software department, the Huawei MatePad will run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house EMUI 10.1 skin baked on top of it.

Moving on to the Huawei MatePad T, the tablet has also been in the news, as its renders have leaked recently. The Huawei MatePad T will reportedly be an 8-inch tablet with thick bezels surrounding the display.

At the back, the Huawei MatePad T will feature a single camera, which will be located on the top right side of the tablet (when held vertically). For now, only a Navy Blue color variant of the Huawei MatePad T has surfaced, but sources speculate that there could be more color options available when it launches.
