Huawei is all geared up to launch the Honor V30 series of smartphones on November 26 in China. Alongside the two smartphones, the company will also launch the Honor Watch Magic 2 on the same day. That, however, doesn’t seem to be the only launch by the company for this month. As it turns out, Huawei could unveil the upcoming Huawei MatePad Pro on November 25, a day before the Honor V30 launch. The company has teased the same via Weibo today.

Huawei MatePad Pro expected to launch on November 25

As said, Huawei’s consumer business group CEO Yu Richard has started talking about an upcoming Huawei MatePad which, according to the rumors, could be nothing but the Huawei MatePad Pro.

We can clearly make out the word MatePad written/hidden in the promotional poster, but there is no sign of a “Pro” word being written there. That said, it’s more than safe to assume that we are indeed going to see the company unleash the MatePad Pro only.

As far as the specifications and features of the Huawei MatePad Pro are concerned, we already have a working clue as to what the tablet has in store for us.

For starters, the Huawei MatePad Pro will be the world’s first tablet with a punch-hole camera. The camera cut-out is located at the top left of the tablet as seen in the renders. Because of the punch-hole, the bezels surrounding the display of the Huawei MatePad Pro are pretty tiny and the device certainly looks pleasing to the eye, at least as far as the renders are concerned.

The Huawei MatePad Pro comes with a dedicated keyboard and an M-Pen support will be there. There is no dedicated slot for the stylus, it would rather stick to the side of the tablet. Both the external keyboard and the stylus appear to be magnetically connected with the tablet. We can safely assume that third-party keyboards will be compatible with the Huawei MatePad Pro.

At the bottom, the Huawei MatePad Pro will have a USB Type-C charging port and two speaker grills.

Powering the tablet will either be a Kirin 980 or a Kirin 990 chipset which will be coupled with 8GB of RAM. The internal storage is tipped to start from 128GB which will go all the way up to 512GB.

Moving on to the display of the tablet, the Huawei MatePad Pro will reportedly feature a QHD+ OLED display. The display size, however, is not confirmed as of now. The tablet will have a metal unibody design.

As of now, this is all we know about the Huawei MatePad Pro, but we are sure to receive further intel on the same in the coming days as the launch date is not too far from now.
