Despite all the setbacks Huawei has faced in the recent past, it has been going strong in terms of releasing new smartphones. The MediaPad M5 Lite is a 4G LTE capable smartphone that also offers support for 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi networks. Huawei has used a sturdy metallic chassis on the outside of this tablet. The display on the M5 Lite measures 10.1-inch diagonally and offers a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels with a pixel density of 224 PPI. To improve the viewing experience on this tablet, Huawei offers ClariVu 5.0 technology which is a software-based solution for improving color saturation and contrast. For more precision when using this touchscreen, you get the M-Pen lite stylus that offers 2048-layers of pressure sensitivity.

Powering the MediaPad M5 Lite is an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset. In India, this tablet will be offered in its 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configuration, with the option of adding an additional 256GB of storage with the use of a microSD card.  For software, the tablet runs EMUI 8.0 that is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It is unclear whether the brand will be able to push out any major OS updates for this tablet considering all the problems it has faced with getting access to Google Services.
