Huawei has launched a new storage variant of the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite tablet in India. The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite is now available as a new 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage option in the country. It will be sold in India via Flipkart, Croma, and various retail stores in the country. Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite: Price, Availability, and Offers
The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite 4GB/64GB variant is priced at Rs 22,990 in India. The new memory variant of the tablet will go on pre-sale on March 6, 2020 in the country. The Chinese tech company is claiming to introduce a bunch of “exclusive offers” with the purchase of the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite. The offers, by the way, have not been disclosed for now, but we will keep you updated whenever we receive any more intel on the same.
Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite: Specifications and Features
The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite flaunts a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS multi-touch display, which supports 1,920 x 1,200 pixel resolution and features a ClariVu 5.0 display enhancement technology. If you are not aware of ClariVu 5.0, this technology is said to adjust the color saturation and contrast of the display based on AI algorithms, thereby providing an optimum viewing experience. The tablet, by the way, comes with built-in Harman Kardon quad speakers. The proprietary Histen 5.0 audio technology the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite comes with is said to ensure effective noise cancellation and improve low-frequency sound effects. The tablet measures 234.4×162.2×7.7mm, and weighs in at 475 grams.
Under the hood, the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite is powered by the company’s in-house Kirin 659 chipset, which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In the software department, the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite runs on the dated Android 8 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top. It is unclear as to whether or not the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite will receive a future Android update (though we would expect that it does).
As far as the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite design is concerned, it comes with a smooth metallic unibody design, which wraps around the 2.5G curved glass edge. Moving on to the battery of the device, the tablet is claimed to provide up to 13 hours of video playback on a single charge. The battery of the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite can be charged with up to 18W of charging speeds, something which is not too common amongst the tablets available in this price range. Speaking of the battery capacity, the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite sports a large 7,500mAh battery. Adding more to productivity, the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite comes with support for M-Pen lite, which supports 2,048 layers of pressure sensitivity. The stylus can be used to take quick notes and mark emails.
Moving on to the cameras of the device, the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite flaunts an 8MP rear camera, which comes with autofocus. At the front, the tablet houses an 8MP selfie shooter.
