Renders showing Huawei’s upcoming P Smart Z smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera had surfaced online last week. Even though the Huawei P Smart Z has not been officially announced yet, listings of the smartphone accidentally went live on the Amazon Italy website. The listings not only revealed the complete hardware specs of the phone but also its pricing for the Italian market.
Huawei P Smart Z Pricing Revealed Ahead of Launch
The Huawei P Smart Z will be priced at EUR 279 (INR 21,500 approx.) according to the now removed listings on the Amazon Italy website. We can expect the smartphone to carry an identical price tag in most other European markets. As for color options, the smartphone will be available in Black, Green, and Blue colors. In case Huawei decides to launch the P Smart Z in India, we expect it to be priced more competitively. Seeing how Huawei significantly increased its focus on the Indian market last year, we can be fairly certain that the P Smart Z will indeed make its way here.
Huawei P Smart Z Specifications Confirmed
In addition to revealing the smartphone’s price, the listings also confirmed the key specifications of the Huawei P Smart Z. The upcoming mid-range smartphone will sport a 6.59-inch Ultra FullView display featuring 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It will run on an octa-core Kirin 710 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory. The P Smart Z will include a microSD card slot as well, allowing further expansion up to 512GB.
The phone will have dual cameras on the back with a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor for depth-sensing. While the primary 16MP sensor will be clubbed with an f/1.8 aperture, the secondary sensor will have an f/2.4 aperture. The pop-up selfie camera will be a 16MP unit with an f/2.0 aperture and Face Unlock support. A 4000mAh non-removable battery will fuel the P Smart Z, although it still remains to be seen if it will have fast charging support. Some of the other key features that have been confirmed include a rear-mounted multifunction fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port. When it comes to software, the Huawei P Smart Z will be running on the manufacturer’s EMUI 9.0 custom user-interface on top of Android 9.0 Pie.
