Alongside the Huawei P40 series of smartphones, Huawei launched the Huawei Watch GT 2e smartwatch as well during the launch event on March 26, 2020. The Huawei Watch GT 2e comes as a sportier variant of the previously launched Huawei Watch GT 2 at a more affordable price. The watch takes some of the specifications and features from its beefier counterpart, like the 1.39-inch AMOLED panel. Huawei Watch GT 2e: Price and Availability
The Huawei Watch GT 2e is kept at an asking price of EUR 199, which is somewhere around Rs 16,400. The watch will be made available in Europe in April 2020. The Huawei Watch GT 2e is priced lower than the Huawei Watch GT 2, which would cost you somewhere around REUR 250.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e features a 1.39-inch AMOLED circular display with a 454 x 454 pixel resolution. Much like the other smartwatches by the brand, the Huawei Watch GT 2e also features two physical buttons on the side for navigation. As far as the battery is concerned, the Huawei Watch GT 2e is said to last 14 days on a single charge. Given the history of the Huawei Watch GT smartwatches, we can safely expect a decent battery performance. At the bottom of the smartwatch, there is a magnetic thimble port for charging. The weight of the watch is around 43 grams. It measures 53.0 x 46.8 mm. This time around, Huawei has opted for a TPU wrist band for the Huawei Watch GT 2e, which is perforated to improve breathability. The body of the watch, however, is made of stainless steel.

Coming to the storage, the Huawei Watch GT 2e features 4GB of onboard storage, which can be used to store media. The watch is 5ATM certified, so you don’t have to take it off while taking a shower or while going for a swim. Additionally, since the Huawei Watch GT 2e is intended towards the sports enthusiasts out there, there are 15 professional workout modes, which include the likes of cycling, triathlon, outdoor running, indoor cycling, indoor running, elliptical, pool swimming, rowing machine, open water swimming, indoor walking, trail running, free training, and hiking.
Like any other usual smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT 2e features real-time notifications for incoming calls, messages, emails, alarms, weather forecasts, timers, and calendar events. There are features like flashlight and find your phone as well.

Coming to the sensors, the Huawei Watch GT 2e comes with sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, capacitive sensor, and more. There’s also an SpO2 sensor, which can measure the oxygen levels in the user’s blood. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.1, pairing support for Android devices running Android 4.4 and higher, and Apple devices running iOS 9.0 and higher.
