Chinese electronics giant Huawei has announced a new wearable product in the Indian market by the name of Huawei Watch GT 2e. The smartwatch had already been launched in global markets back in March alongside the flagship P40-series. Now it has made its way to India and the headlining feature for the product happens to be a 14-day battery life of a single charge.
Huawei Watch GT 2e: Price and availability
The Huawei smartwatch is priced at Rs 11,990 and there are three colour options which are Graphite Black, Lava Red, Mint Green, and Icy White. Amazon and Flipkart both have the Watch GT 2e up for pre-order which started from May 14 onwards. The watch is available as part of a six-month no-cost EMI option for those who have pre-ordered it between May 15 and May 21.

The Watch GT 2e has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454×454 pixel resolution and has about 4GB of internal storage. As a matter of fact, many of its features such as the round stainless steel dial and fluoro rubber straps have been taken directly from the Watch GT 2 launched in India earlier this year.
As with any typical smartwatch, there are many workout modes in-built inside which include many indoor and outdoor activities like running, walking, mountain climbing, swimming, and more. As per Huawei, the Watch GT 2e has the ability to monitor 190 types of activity data. Other features and sensors on the device include Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, heart rate monitor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, capacitive sensor, and it has an water resistance for up to 5ATM.
Apart from that the watch can also monitor your sleeping habits and give feedback accordingly. There is also a SpO2 sensor that tracks the Oxygen levels in your blood. Also, it can give weather updates, set alarms, timer, stopwatch, and more.
