Infinix has expanded its Y1 range of smart TVs in the country. Notably, the brand launched 32- and 43-inch Y1 TVs last year. The 24Y1 has joined the lineup as the smallest and most affordable option. Notably, the 32-inch model was priced under Rs 10,000, and the newest addition can be picked up for under Rs 8,000. The Infinix 24Y1 will be sold on Flipkart starting this month. Infinix 24Y1: Price in India, Availability
The Infinix 24Y1 has been priced at Rs 6,799 in India, which makes it one of the most affordable smart TVs. The television will be available starting May 15 on Flipkart.
Infinix 24Y1: Specifications
The Infinix 24Y1 has a display measuring 24 inches diagonally and an HD resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. According to Infinix, the display panel offers 250 nits of peak brightness. The visuals are further backed by improved dynamic range provided by HLG support. There’s an eye care mode that reduces the blue light emissions to protect viewers’ eyes.
On the audio front, the television flaunts box speakers with up to 16W audio output. There are two 16W box speakers to take care of the audio. The audio is tuned by Dolby, and various sound modes boost the audio experience.
As for the performance, the Infinix 24Y1 has a quad-core processor running the show under the hood. The chipset is mated to 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. On the software front, the Infinix 24Y1 boots Linux OS out of the box. It features pre-installed apps for streaming online content. Prime Video, YouTube, SonyLiv, Zee5, ErosNow, and AajTak apps are already installed on the TV. It means users can start streaming without having to download any apps.
On the connectivity front, the Infinix 24Y1 offers multiple ports to its users. It has two HDMI ports, two USB ports, RF input, AV input, headphone jack, COAX out, LAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity options. The TV comes with remote control featuring hotkeys for Prime Video and YouTube for one-click access.
The new launch is similar to the 32Y1 model in terms of specifications. However, the speakers have been downgraded from 20W to 16W. On the other hand, the 43Y1 has a 43-inch FHD display, 20W speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity. The 32 Y1 was launched at Rs 8,999, whereas the 43Y1 arrived with a sticker price of Rs 13,999.
