Infinix has confirmed the launch of a new smartphone in India. The company had previously confirmed the launch of the Note 11 and 11 Pro in India alongside the INBook X1 laptop. These devices are scheduled to launch in India in December 2021. Alongside the laptop and two smartphones, Infinix will also launch the Note 11S in India.
The device has already been launched in select markets. Infinix’s CEO Anish Kapoor has now teased the launch of the budget smartphone in India via a post on Twitter. Let’s take a look at the Infinix Note 11S specifications, features and other details.
Infinix Note 11S India launch teased
Infinix Note 11S will be the third-smartphone under the Note 11 series in India that will launch later this year alongside the Note 11 and 11 Pro. The teaser post does not reveal the official launch date.
The device was unveiled earlier this year with a 6.95-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. The phone’s display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the device has a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage via a microSD card slot. The phone packs a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
On the back, the device has a 50MP primary camera. It’s triple-camera setup is completed by two 2MP sensors for macro photography and depth sensing. It has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone runs Android 11-based XOS 10 out of the box. It comes with connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C port, dual stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc. Based on these specs, we can expect the device to launch in India under Rs 20,000.
