Infinix Note 7 is reportedly set to launch in India soon. According to reports, Infinix may launch the new, mid-range smartphone with gaming credentials alongside a lower spec variant, the Infinix Note 7 Lite, as early as the second week of September. The smartphone was launched in April this year, and features an updated design language in line with what most smartphones offer today. It seemingly targets the value conscious, budget smartphone buyers looking for a big screen gaming experience without spending a fortune.
Infinix Note 7 specifications, features
Infinix Note 7’s gaming credentials are taken care of the mid-range MediaTek Helio G70 SoC, which features an octa-core configuration with two Cortex A75 performance cores. This is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. To the front, the Infinix Note 7 features a 6.95-inch display, with 720 x 1,640 pixels screen resolution and 20.5:9 screen aspect ratio. The HD+ resolution with the IPS LCD panel is a slight letdown in terms of overall pixel density, which stands at 258 ppi.
The Infinix Note 7 also features a quad rear camera, with 48MP primary, 2MP macro, 2MP depth and a 2MP dedicated video unit. To the front, the Note 7 has a punch hole camera to the top left, with a 16MP sensor capable of 1080p full HD video calling. The entire package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and runs on Android 10. The smartphone features a microUSB port for physical connectivity and charging, and a side mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
Infinix Note 7 Lite specifications, features
Infinix Note 7 Lite, meanwhile, features the Helio P22 SoC, along with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It houses a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display with 720 x 1,600 pixels screen resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display offers slightly better pixel density than the Note 7, at 266 ppi.
Other features include a quad rear camera setup featuring 48MP main, 2MP macro, 2MP depth and a fourth QVGA unit. The Infinix Note 7 Lite also features the punch-hole front camera design, with an 8MP selfie camera. The Note 7 Lite is also powered by a 5,000mAh battery, but only supports 10W charging. It also features a microUSB port, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Android 10, with Infinix’s custom XOS 6.0 user interface.
