Yesterday, Infinix launched its latest Smart series smartphone, the Smart 4 Plus, in the Indian market. But it looks like the brand is already working on another Smart series device, the Smart 5. We have learned this through the Google Play Console listing of the smartphone. Here is what the listing of the Smart 5 on Google Play Console reveals about the device.

The listing of Infinix Smart 5 on Google Play Console clearly mentions its name. It even mentions the model number of the smartphone, X657.

According to the listing, the Smart 5 has a display with an HD+ (1600 x 720) resolution and 320 DPI pixel density. Considering the resolution and the DPI, the display seems to be 6.0 to 6.3-inches in size. The device is powered by the MediaTek MT6580 SoC, which has four Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and an ARM Mali 400 GPU clocked at 500MHz. The chipset is mated to 2GB of RAM. The phone runs on the Android 10 OS.

This is the first appearance of the Smart 5 on the internet. There haven’t been any other leaks of the device in the past. Therefore, we don’t have any additional information regarding the smartphone at the moment. That being said, the specs of the device listed on Google Play Console suggest that it an entry-level smartphone. So, don’t expect to offer mind-blowing specs.
