Infinix is on a launch spree. The company debuted the Infinix Note 11i yesterday with a 48MP triple-camera setup and a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. The Hong Kong-based smartphone giant has now unveiled another budget smartphone called the Smart 5 Pro. The device is the latest addition to Infinix’s Smart 5 series. It previously launched the Smart 5 and Smart 5A in select markets. The Pro model is the most feature-rich among the three devices. The device is likely to make its way to India. The Infinix Smart 5 Pro is currently listed on Pakistan’s XPark e-commerce platform for PKR 14,499 (roughly Rs 6,200). It comes in a single 2GB RAM variant with 32GB of internal storage. The device is launched in two colours – Black and Green.

Specifications and features

The Smart 5 Pro is an entry-level smartphone offering. It comes with a 6.52-inch display with a water-drop notch at the top. The screen has an HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The tiny notch at the top houses an 8MP front camera sensor.

On the back, the device has a square-shaped camera module. It has a dual-camera setup with an LED flash placed inside the module. The device has a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. 

Powering the entry-level smartphone is a Unisoc SC9863A. It is paired with the PowerVR GE8322 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device has 32GB of inbuilt memory, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The phone packs a beefy 6000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner along with AI Face Unlock support. The device runs Android 11-based XOS 7.6 out of the box.
