Infinix, a Transsion group company, has launched its new entry-level handset under the Smart 5 series. The Infinix Smart 5 Pro which was spotted online a couple of days back has now been unveiled officially in Bangladesh. The latest Infinix handset offers a large HD+ display, an octa-core processor, and a dual-camera setup. The Smart 5 Pro packs a 6,000mAh battery with 10W charging. The Smart 5 Pro comes only in one memory-storage configuration that is 2GB RAM + 32GB storage. The handset is priced at 8,898 Bangladeshi Taka (approx. Rs. 7,675).

The Smart 5 Pro packs a 6.52-inch TFT LCD HD+ display with a 720*1600 pixel resolution and 500nits brightness. The display features a waterdrop notch that houses the front selfie shooter.

The entry-level Infinix handset is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor with a 1.6GHz frequency. The graphics duties on the handset are taken care of by a PowerVR GE8322 GPU which suggests that the processor under the hood is the UniSoC SC9863A. The handset comes in 2GB RAM memory and 32GB storage configuration. However, Infinix is providing users an option to expand the storage by up to 256GB via a dedicated micro-SC card slot.

Moving on to the optics, the entry-level Infinix handset comes with a dual-rear camera setup with an LED flash that resides on the top left corner of the back panel. The primary shooter on the handset is a 13MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture which gets coupled with a depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the Smart 5 Pro has an 8MP shooter.

The handset is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and 10W charging support. It features a dated micro-USB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include dual-sim, 2.4GHz WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.
