Infinix has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The company has unveiled the Infinix Smart 6 HD as its new entry-level offering in the Smart 6 series. The new Smart 6 HD is the third smartphone in the series after the vanilla Smart 6 and the Smart 6 Plus, which were launched earlier this year in India.
The Smart 6 HD is the most affordable offering in the series. It comes with a single storage option and is ideal for those who want to switch to a new Android smartphone experience from a feature phone. Let’s take a look at the Infinix Smart 6 HD price in India, specifications and other details.
Infinix Smart 6 HD Price in India and Specifications
The Infinix Smart 6 HD comes to India with a single storage option. The phone has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is priced at Rs 6,799 and comes in three colours – Aqua Sky, Force Black and Origin Blue.
The Infinix Smart 6 HD will go on sale starting August 12 via Flipkart.
In terms of specifications, the phone comes with a 6.6-inch TFT LCD. The screen has a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera. The display has an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
Under the hood, there is a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. The chipset is paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. With only 2GB of RAM under the hood, the Smart 6 HD runs Android 11 Go Edition out of the box. It has a layer of XOS 7.6 on top of Android.
On the back, there is a square-shaped camera module. The phone comes with a single camera sensor and an LED flash inside the module. There are two more dummy cutouts inside the camera module to make it look like a triple-camera setup. The Smart 6 HD has an 8MP rear camera sensor. For selfies, the water-drop notch has a 5MP front camera.
The Smart 6 HD also packs a 5000 mAh battery with 5W charging via a micro-USD port. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a single speaker and support for dual-SIM.
