This includes a new chipset, high resolution primary camera, virtual RAM, and more. The smartphone is the brand’s second 5G offering under the flagship ZERO banner. And with 5G officially launched in India, we expect 5G devices from the company to come to India soon. Let’s take a look at the specifications and features of the device.

Infinix ZERO 5G 2023: Specifications and Features
The Infinix ZERO 5G 2023, although part of the brand’s flagship banner, sports modest mid-range specifications competing against entrenched rivals like the Realme 9 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and the likes. However, not much has changed from its predecessor save for a new processor.
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The Infinix ZERO 5G 2023 is powered by the octa core MediaTek Dimensity 1080, coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The RAM can be further extended up to 5GB by borrowing from the storage through RAM expansion.
As for the cameras, the Infinix ZERO 5G 2023 features a 50MP primary camera on the back along with two other cameras that include a 2MP macro camera and a depth sensor. The camera can do 4K video at 60 FPS and 960 FPS slo-mo recording. On the front is a 16MP shooter for selfies, with dual LED flash.
The smartphone draws power from a large 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging to boot. The Infinix ZERO 5G 2023 runs on Android 12 base XOS 12 software and has a 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res audio certification. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone supports both standalone and non standalone 5G networks with support for the major 5G bands including n78, n77, n3, n5, n7 and more. There’s also Dual 4G VoLTE with Wi-Fi 6 support along with Bluetooth 5.2. The smartphone uses a USB Type-C port.
As for the design, the Infinix ZERO 5G 2023 looks a lot like the Oppo flagships this year, particularly the Oppo Find X5 Pro with its raised camera module that is seamlessly flushed against the body. The display up front also seems to have minimal bezels from what the press renders reveal, with the selfie camera housed in a hole punch cutout in the centre. The smartphone weighs 201 grams and is 8.9mm thick.
