Infinix Zero X Moniker Confirmed For Flagship Phone With 160W Fast Charging, 50W Wireless Charging and More

A few weeks back we saw a report from XDA Developers which revealed that Infinix is working on a smartphone with 160W fast charging support. The publication even revealed the image of the 160W charger back then. Later on, we also saw yet another report from XDA Developer which detailed the render of this upcoming Infinix handset. The renders revealed by the publication showcased us the Infinix device with a dual-camera setup, which had a USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, and a 3D glass display with a punch-hole camera. The official name of this upcoming device remained a mystery as of now. However, now in a recent development, the official marketing name of the phone is revealed ahead of launch. It is now confirmed that this upcoming Infinix handset with 160W fast charging support will be launched as the Infinix Zero X.

Earlier the company had launched the Infinix Zero 8 device in the Zero lineup. It was believed earlier that this upcoming smartphone will launch as the Infinix Zero 10. However, now it is being reported that this device will be launched as the Infinix Zero X. As far as the phone’s specifications are concerned, this upcoming Infinix device is tipped to feature a curved OLED display. The smartphone is considered to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. As for the charging purpose, the Infinix Zero X will support 160W fast charging. The phone is also said to offer 50W wireless charging support. In terms of optics, the device might sport a 108-megapixel primary rear-facing camera.

The other details of this upcoming handset like display size, hardware specifications, and battery capacity information remain unknown as of now. Additionally, the launch date of the device isn’t revealed yet. As the days pass, we should get to learn more about this Infinix smartphone if it appears on any benchmark or certification in the upcoming days. In a piece of related news, Infinix recently launched the budget-oriented Infinix Note 10 and the Infinix Note 10 Pro smartphones. Both these handsets sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ display. The Infinix Note 10 is powered by the Helio G85 chipset, while the pro model ships with Helio G95 SoC. On the software front, both these devices run Android 11 out of the box. The vanilla Note 10 features a 48MP triple-camera setup, whereas the Pro variant comes with a 64MP quad-camera setup.
