Amazon India has launched a new service called Amazon Clinic, which offers online doctor consultations for over 50 health conditions. With Clinic, Amazon competes with telehealth platforms like Practo, Medibuddy, 1mg Online Consultation, and more. Here are the details.
Amazon Clinic is Now Live
Amazon Clinic offers consultations with specialist doctors from various fields, including, Dermatology, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, and more. The consultation fee at the Clinic starts from Rs 299 and goes up to Rs 799, depending on the specialists.
You can book consultations online for specified slots. The online consultation includes video, audio, and chat support, and comes with unlimited seven days of free follow-up. Amazon notes the consultation typically lasts 10 to 30 minutes depending on the complexity of the health issue.
Amazon Clinic is exclusively available now on the Amazon Android app and should arrive on the iOS app soon. This is not accessible via PC, though.
How to Book a Consultation on Amazon Clinic?
Here’s how to book an online consultation with a doctor on Amazon Clinic:
- On the Amazon app, Tap the Pharmacy option.
- Tap the Clinic banner. You can also open Amazon Clinic by clicking here.
- Tap Book a new consultation.
- Select the specialist from the list.
- Select the doctor and tap Consult.
- Select the desired time of consultation and tap Confirm.
- Agree to terms and conditions and tap Book appointment.
- Select the user profile and complete the profile by filling out the personal details. Tap Create profile to create a Clinic profile.
- You can set a PIN for your Clinic profile if you want.
- After it’s complete, agree to the terms and conditions again and tap Book appointment.
You can now make the payment and get the doctor’s appointment at Amazon Clinic.
