iOS 16.5 Brings a New Pride Section in Wallpaper Settings and Sports Features

The iOS 16.5 is rolling out to all iPhone users with iPhone 8 and above after around a month of beta testing. This new update brings performance improvements, bug fixes, and several new features. The most talked about addition is the new Pride section in Wallpaper settings. It includes a set of three wallpapers for the home and a lock screen to honour the LGBTQ+ community and culture.
The next big update is the addition of the Sports tab in the Apple news app. This section will give users instant access to stories, scores, standings, and more of their favourite sports. Users can set their preferred teams and leagues, like NBA Playoffs. Apple has also added My Sports score and schedule card, which takes the users directly to the game pages for more up-to-date information about specific games.
Apple has also included bug fixes for unresponsive Spotlight and content not being loaded in the CarPlay Podcasts section. The latest update also fixes the Screen Time issue where settings are not reset or synced correctly across all devices.
