Following the iPhone 14 launch event, the company is likely to host another Apple event for the launch of new iPad models worldwide. Apple is said to refresh the iPad lineup with the launch of an entry-level iPad, aka the iPad 10th-generation. The company will also launch a new iPad Pro model with an M2 chip at the same event, according to a report.

iPad Pro M2, iPad 10th-Generation Specifications
Two new iPad models are said to debut globally in October. Apple will launch an entry-level iPad alongside the iPad Pro M2 at the October event. The leaked details come via Naver, which claims that the entry-level iPad will feature an A14 Bionic chip with 5G network support. The same chip was used in the iPhone 12 series.
We exclusively revealed the CAD renders of the 2022 iPad model. It showed that the phone has an iPhone X-like pill-shaped camera module design for the single camera and an LED flash. The rear panel also sports the Apple logo. The iPad will also feature a flat frame design. At the front, the display will be slightly larger than the outgoing model. Apple will continue to offer Touch ID on the Home button at the bottom of the budget iPad. The front camera is placed on the top bezel.
The budget iPad will also come with a USB Type-C port, according to the rumour mill. It will ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. The iPad could also sport a larger 10.5-inch or a 10.9-inch display.
Alongside the entry-level iPad, Apple will also launch the premium iPad Pro M2. the M2 chip was unveiled earlier this year and is found in the Apple MacBook Air M2 and the MacBook Pro M2. It comes with 18 per cent CPU gains and up to 35 per cent GPU improvements. The report does not reveal any details about the display size.
Apple has launched the iPad Pro models with 11-inch and 12.9-inch displays in the past. The upcoming 11-inch model could sport a mini-LED display. More details of the new iPads should surface online very soon.
